Tom's inspirations include: organic shapes in the New England countryside, the ocean in its fluid changing forms, and the music and dance that fill my life outside the jewelry studio and remind me of the proportion, balance, movement and grace I strive for in my jewelry designs.
All our jewelry is hand-crafted from start to finish right here in our New England studio, by Tom or under his direct supervision.

Awesome place with a beautiful selection and VERY good prices. Staff was very friendly and they have a nice amount of actually nice looking quality jewelry not the mass produced Cheap looking Jewelry I've been seeing everywhere, they know their craft. I needed my chain fixed and it was done the same day and believe me you cannot find that service anywhere. Thanks a lot Swedes ! Will recommend and be back for more.

Came here to fix my watch's broken bracelet and even though they were busy, they accommodated us, and after a small wait, found what was missing and got it fixed without me having to reach out to citizen. To make things even better.. they didn't even charge me for the service even though I didn't buy the watch from there. Totally recommend this place !

I went here with my husband on June 11, 2024, to confirm if a ring I was going to buy from a private seller was real. They didn’t charge me a thing and the woman that helped us was amazing. She listened, was caring, very helpful, and understanding. I am so impressed by this store, I will be coming back here for all of my future jewelry purchases. Customer service was top tier and we were greeted as soon as we walked in. I will no longer shop at the big box stores, they’ve got me sold.

My wife and I stopped in at Swede's last month to talk about an upgrade to her wedding band/diamond ring. Annette helped us immensely. She now has a stunning ring that is no longer a 2-piece set. They were able to fuse the separate rings into one and upgrade the stone with the incredible diamond that she has always deserved. Her original engagement diamond was turned into a beautiful pendant as well. Beautiful work by Swede's. Thank you so much!

All I can say is that Swede\'s is one of the best stores, in Ct. They care about everyone, their work is great, they listen to U, what U want, I brought in a ring from my mom, who just passed, and U think it was one of their rings they way they handled it, from start to finish, I love their customer care, their friendly atmosphere, they let me talk about my mom, but there work is beyond fantastic, I would highly recommend them for anyone, in the area and out of the area, they care, and will care about you, and what U need done, I am greatful that I drove there from a small distance, I am greateful for them and their prices are very reasonable, and they even helped me with getting a matching band, which they went out of their way to do, in a price I could find this is just not a review, I cannot say enough good things about them, trust is #1, and caring, is right up there, they are the best thank U for taking care of me.

I recently decided to updated my wedding rings and Rob helped me chose the right wedding bands to match the beautiful estate diamond ring I found there. I wouldn\'t think of shopping anywhere else. I brought in a very difficult task for Rob. I had elk ivory teeth that I wanted to turn into custom earrings. After a lot of talking and figuring Rob said he could do it. I couldn\'t have been happier with how they turned out, absolutely exquisite custom earrings exactly how I imagined them. It was a tough task ,I know, but they turned out absolutely stunning and made for a gift that will be remembered forever.
